I found this story on another site and I was dismayed to realize it was obviousy unfinished and there was no ending or second part or whatever to be found anywhere. On a hunch I tried entering the title on this site and dumb luck, you posted it here too! and with two additional chapters. Still no ending though, which had me very disappointed because I was devoring that story and couldn't wait to see what would happen and how Jim would manage to find Spock and who/what Isaacs was exactly, and whether something would actually happen between Phyllida and Spock. So I'll keep my fingers crossed that you haven't completely lost interest in that story and that you might post more chapters in the future. I really want to see how it ends. May the muse be with you!

It's an indication of a great story when the supposed bad guy can garner so much sympathy. Poor Barker! Your action scenes are quite good and I could follow what was happening well. Also, the characters -sound- like themselves, very in-character. I'm looking forward to Chapter 15.

Isaacs is quite the odd fellow, isn't he? I can't tell if Spock is truly suspicious of him, or if he's jealous of the attention that Phyllida is giving the man. That last line is ominous, so I hope that you'll have more for us soon!
