Oh wow... I love finding fan fictions like this--they are so rare. Everyone is in character, the plot seems to blend in easily with the story, my (admittedly slightly uneducated) eye has yet to find any serious grammatical errors... excellent job. This is wonderful!

I loved this story, but I still partially want to kill Tatsumi. Why, oh why, can't he just let his lingering feelings for Tsuzuki go? Anyways, I did love it. Hugs and cuddles... and cake for you!

Ah, so a new complexity arises in the story. I must admit that this story has kept me far more occupied than I thought possible. The only thing that bothers me is that I want to rip Tatsumi's head off at some points. One moment, he's so soft and gentle with Tsuzuki, the next he's blushing around Watari. Come on Tatsumi, I will kill you myself if you don't realize that you and Watari are meant to be!

Oh no! Tsuzuki! Of course, of all things, I didn't expect Muraki to be involved in the murders for once. Really, I didn't think he'd play such a large role. This was such a mean place to leave off the chapter. However, I did love it. And I'm curious beyond all reason to know WHY Muraki is so interested in the kid. Great chapter.

Okay, another great chapter down. I do feel bad for all those involved though, and although I realize the importance of the case, I do wonder why those three were specifically asked for, especially Tsuzuki, considering his less than stable mental state. Also, poor Hisoka, being trapped in a meeting like that. Also, I almost feel the worst for Watari. He never really gets the chance to express his own feelings and concerns about cases like these because everyone's attention is always so focused on Tsuzuki and Hisoka. Hm... I did like this chapter. I love the fact that it's not as simple as just solving the case, but also racing to find the souls as well. It definately adds a more urgent element.

Alright, so the reason I didn't read Apocalypse Rising yet is because I saw in the summary that it was a sequel to this story, which made me a little nervous. Not to mention the fact I'm currently crazy busy and don't have time to read that much in one sitting.

Okay, now that I'm done giving out my excuses, I have an actual review. I'm a lightweight. Blood and gore makes me sick to my stomach, and I'm pleased to say that your version didn't. That's probably because of the wonderful combination between the elegance of your writing style and the violence of the actual chapter. All in all, I'm very pleased with this chapter and look forward to reading more of this story and then continuing on to Apocalypse Rising. Maybe then, I won't get so frustrated when you update that and not Shadows of My Past. Well, lots of luvs and cuddles!

I finally got around to finishing it...Very good ending, though I'm curious about Hisoka's present. o.O Guess I'll have to go on to the next one. Excellently done, though you had a hard time with tenses at points. I really enjoyed the plot, and can't wait to see what you have planned next. ^_^ Even though I spaced reading it out as much as I did, I could still remember what happened, so your story is very original.

I fallen in love with this fic of yours. The plot is amazing. Characters...love 'em all! KFR is really heartbreaking fic. Breath-taking.
