Senkai again! _ I only just discovered the joys of The Dark is Rising fanfic section! I like the idea of a dark and light ones, but siblings! It will be interesting to see what happens to them as they discover their powers and work for different sides! Great writing, and the animals and classic happenings when they start to discover their powers..a la Will Stanton, was written very very..in character-y! -_-;; It's written very like tDiR (the Dark is Rising) and if it wasn't under your name, I would have reckoned it was by Susan Cooper! Well done on a very canon (is that the word? _;) story! :)

Oh, must read more...And about the poems, yes they are two seperate poems. I have found that when I take it down, the problems I fixed when I rewrite them do not appear when I post them. of all the wonderful discoveries and serendipities, discovering well-written Dark is Rising fic is certainly high on the list. So far this is lovely, wonderfully (and very Cooper-ishly) written, although further description would add to it, methinks.. So yes, I'm new, and already addicted :) thank you very much, longing for Will...

-"...Leon as he opened his chest..." This was confusing to me. it took a minute to figure out what you meant by 'chest'. I may just be slow at the moment. :D

-"Having gotten used such comments..." I think you need 'to' in there. 'Having gotten used TO such comments..."

-The twins speak more proper than I do at 14. That could be how they were raised, but then Leon says "What the heck?" It seems out of place to me. Maybe make their lanuage more consistant.

-At the end, you wrote, "Unnerved, the two hesistantly..." It's an oxymoron that could used to be fixed.
