Wow. I really like the IchiRuki pairing, but this introspective conundrum was nice.

To call it an oedpius complex is rather extreme, don't you think? Rukia may feel like his mother, but as it is stated, it is one sided.

Ichigo clearly knows who is own mother is. And its not her. And she sure as hell never behaves like a mother.

Oh gods, Oedipus... my English teacher was telling us the backgroud of Antigone, and then she got into detail...yeah, not the greatest story out there. Anyways, very interesting fic. I've never thought of it that way (and I probably will still be a die-hard IchiRuki shipper), but it was an interesting fanfic to read. Kudos!

This story is a prime example of what most of is missing: complexity and proper use of grammer. I cannot express in words how much I loved this story. The age difference between Rukia and Ichigo (although one could assume that Rukia's age is the shinigami equivalent to being fifteen or so) makes a great point to play on in stories, and her maternal feelings for him are made even more plausible because of it. The bittersweet-ness of this piece is just... so damn good. Thank you for such an amazing piece!

Oh, I liked it. A lot. It's almost disturbing, becaues it's there's this common belief that IchiRuki is a set-in-stone pairing. And it probably is. But for a fanficiton, this outlook is much more fun. ;)

Anyway, it's beautifully written and it brings to light a new facet of their relationship to think about (it's so sweet - and interesting - to think of Ichigo as a child, compared to the shinigami). Definately a great fic. ^_^

I can see why some people reject Ichiruki for this reason: age difference. But...if you've caught up with the recent anime, it strongly suggests Ichiruki together. Age is of no problem for them. After all, it's already been overcome, as it is revealed in the anime...and isn't there any speculation that Ichigo is actually a shinigami? *shrugs* Maybe that's just my take...

Oh God, Oedipus... Lol... That was a TERRIBLE situation. I read it in English class and when we got to the part where Oedipus married his mother the whole class was like ...EW...

But anyway, I really liked this. Especially the last two lines.

Those last few lines were just amazing. They were juxtaposed with one another perfectly. It created a brilliant irony.
