i like it, i think its interesting that he doesn't go back and meet up with people, although it makes sense. it wouldn't have worked if Assumpta hadn't been there, and im pretty sure she did actually die, so i guess wat i'm saying is that it worked out for the best

a lovely little story and probably one much needed. it's such a relief not to have another au popping up...i'm so relieved and impressed that you stuck to character and still made it work. thank you. it's been a long time that i've missed these characters and it's wonderful to be able to experience that world again.
