think i read this back in 05, but reread it again together, its still great

Just thought I'd let you know, Im rereading this story for probably the Third time now, and it just keeps. getting. better. I even went on an Outward Bound course once because of this story! I love it so much; easily my all time favorite GW fic. Please dont ever delete it!

Hey, this is my second time reading this story and I completely loved it both times. I really like the 3x4 pairing but I usually get frustrated with how they write Quatre. He's gutsy, dammit! The guy deserves more credit. But if I could find more stories like this with such a cool Quatre and Trowa and Heero and, and, everyone! then I would definitely be in fanfiction heaven. And I would be happy, very very happy. Just wanted you to know that I thought the story was awesome and I'll probably end up reading it again sometime in the future.

I don't normally read 3x4 fics (mostly because in my head Quatre and Trowa are already married so there is no need for them to get together) but I was glad I stumbled across this one. Not sure the man bashing was IC, but it was a fun read and it did show Quatre as finding his own well of inner strength, which isn't a subject that most authors bother to evolve him to once they establish he's a rich little gay boy. Very well done.

Wow. I feel kind of pathetic that I saw this and was like "I remember when that story firs came out, good times." It makes me think of my grandmother saying she remembered when most of my neighbourhood was fields and cows. I'm glad I found this story again though, I was needing a good GW fic to cheer me up after all the bad ones I've been reading lately.

I love all of your fics, but I think this one is my favorite so far. You must know a lot about the things you write about or you really look up information about them, either way you do an awesome job of it!

I don't why I haven't read this fic before but I'm glad I stopped by to give it a read because it is such a great fic. It keep me captivated from beginning to end. I thought Quatre's father was such a prick and I couldn't believe he made such acusations and caused Quatre to cry. Hell I was almost in tears. Parents opinions mean a lot and to hear him say those things must have been devistating. I also couldn't believe the dick Heero was being towards Quatre but I'm glad they patched things up. This story had so much drama and action and it was all over a damn bat. But the forest is saved and Quatre showed he was worthy of being a man and able to handle situations like no other and I commend you for making such a wonderful fic and sharing it with the fanfiction world. I really did like how you progressed Quatre's character and the relationship between him and Trowa (especially that hot ** kiss while getting shot at). And of course the ending when Quatre jumped down into the water and ending with another hot ** kiss was a beautiful ending. I absolutely loved this fic.

Wow. That was simply superb. Out of the ordinary. Seriously, you out-did yourself. The Open Door songfic serie (for Twilight) has no chance in comparaison. Really amazigly good. The plot was well developped and gradual. The relashionships didn't jump out from nowhere. The characters were amazingtly well written (very realistic) all th e while being an AR (Alternate Reality)and the ending was beautiful. It makes me wish there was a sequel (featuring Quatre as one of the Rangers this time *hinthint;-)) I garantee that if you wrote one, I would review EVERY chapter and it would definitely be appreciated (by other people too lol XD!) Anyway, Wilderness rocks.

Wow, this story was absolutely amazing. I loved it. The way you wrote the charecters is awesome, and so is Quatre's development. The plot is excellent, and overall it was a very good read. Excellent job!

I really enjoyed this story. I tried to review before but the system was down. The charicterization was spot on...the plot well thought out and the pacing was just great. having been hiking, rafting, repelling and horseback riding in colorado, i've even been caving a few times. (but there were no bats or insane gunmen where we went) anyway, the specific details and realism of this story really struck a chord with me. all in all this story is a fine piece of word-craft. nice job.

I enjoyed this fic on several levels. First of all, I enjoyed the outdoorsy theme, being that I'm interested in that sort of thing myself. Wufei's flamboyant homosexuality amused me to such a degree that I didn't care how out of character it was. At first, I disliked how "wussy" Quatre was, but as I got to see his strengths come out I felt better about his characterization. When I got to the end and saw that his father still thought he needed to toughen up, even after saving his life, I felt like he'd been cheated a little. Upon thinking about it, I realized that this was an important part of the story's lesson, demonstrating that Quatre had matured to the point where he no longer needed his father's approval. Overall, I quite enjoyed the story. ^_^
