This was a truly wonderful adaptation. As a student of history I am well aware of the horrows of war and I have watch many anime shows. The parllels that you draw between Lady Une and and soldiers of the Great War seem very real. The horrors of the past can't be undone but maybe we can build a better future.

wow... i mean really... wow. This was done so beautifully. the last line really hit me the hardest... "Sister Sainte Marie Une, for some reason, deeply within her heart…though she could never express it in words…knew…once her penance had been paid…"
