I personally think she's not bad. In fact, even Wei and Syao agreed, she has a good heart. She can't even hate Sakura. So yes, Meiling is indeed beautiful inside and out :)

Aww, I'm so glad you made this story! It's true; a lot of people hate Meiling. Personally, I love her as well. Everything you wrote is so true.

People think, 'Oh, she's getting between Syaoran and Sakura. I hate her.' But really, if you think about it, she knew Syaoran first. She was there first.

It doesn't matter if you are a fan of SyaoranxSakura, like I am. Meiling is still an important character. She's so adorable too! And I'm glad she's not naive like Sakura. Yes, Sakura can be cute when she's all innocent, but being ignorant like that can get annoying over time.

I like how Meiling is so observant, especially when she actually notices Syaoran's feelings, unlike Sakura, who just remains completely oblivious until he actually tells her.

I don't know if it was your intention to do this, but it sounds like Meiling absolutely hates Sakura. That's just how I saw it in your story. But in the anime, she doesn't, right? She even says herself that she couldn't bring herself to hate her. That's another reason why I like Meiling. She sacrificed her happiness for two other people's happiness and she deserves a round of applause and a lot of recognition and admiration for that.

Well, enough of that. This story is very unique because it actually has Meiling as the main character. It's all focused around her. Thank you so much for this story!

Ahh...I don't hate Meilin, but I can't say she's my favorite character. Well, everything you said was true, but she wasn't nice at the beginning to Sakura, either. She seemed really possessive and stuff, so that was a little bit scary.

But she became my second favorite character (Syaoran's the first! Hehe...)after the Twin card, after she told her side of the story and she wasn't harsh towards Sakura and the others. And she can kick butt! Lol.

Personally, I do NOT like Sakura. I watched both versions of the anime show, and I liked the english version a lot more too. Sakura in the jap. was all like "HOE!" or like "I am NOT a monster!" or "YUKITO-SAN!" That is seriously annoying. And her voice - it sounds like a mice! So annoying and squeaky.

But I think Syaoran and Sakura fits better for a pairing.

I'm re-watching the anime now and Sakura is really cute, a bit annoying at times but she's adorable.

But I like Meiling better, not because of her 'sacrificing' but just because she's Meiling. And she is beautiful... there's something about Sakura's hair that annoys me...

whoa! okay she is my favorite character too but u went a lil over board there...in the movie 2nd she wanted them to be together and she wanted some1 that loved her just as much as she loved them and Li definately didnt love her back so yea...but over it was pretty good...oh and wen i look her up i get like 15 pages of pictures!

... don't really know what to write... i never really thought of meilin as a bad person... i kinda liked her, and i think she is pretty... but i dun rli like the way you portrayed her... she isn't rli sacrificing for sakura, she did it for syaoran, rite? and doesn't sakura like her alot too? and meilin likes sakura too, rite? but in this fanfic, its like she is a rli jealous and self-pitying person and i dun like her personality too well... Sigh. While you do get brownie points for the original idea, not to mention the fact that I didn't have to get peeved at spelling mistakes because you had none, I still don't like this story.

I assume Meiling's thoughts are somewhat mirroring your own thoughts about Sakura. The only thoughts you can think about her is that she is sweet, naive, and innocent. People have different opinions, but that gives you no reason to hate Sakura just because she's nice.

Everyone likes a change in character, and I especially liked Meiling, but I don't really like the way your portrait her.

Be mature, and don't take this as a flame, take this a criticisim.

To tell you the truth (my opinion changed a great deal later onwards), the first episode i saw Meiling, I was like "Why is she jumping on Syaoran?" but then later, I realised that Meiling was really, and TRULY one of the best characters in the whole show.

I don't really mind Sakura all that much, since that was how CLAMP chose to portray her, and I have a friend who acts a tiny bit like her *in the naive part*.

I support both Syaoran and Meiling & Sakura and Syaoran.

But your story was so well written!

Meiling isn't a character that is all that hated, since in the end, all CCS fans saw Meiling sacrificng herself to helpd Sakura and Syaoran.

I luv it i totally understand i really wonder why sakura was made the main character to me she gets kind of annoying. And tomoyo does everything for her shes so sweet and meiling is only protecting syaoran like a boyfriend. if i was engaged i sure would never let a female get 5 feet from my fiancee LOVE ITT!
