ellet 2006-12-27 ch 11, anon.	abuseawh i -liked- the italics. okay. you said you like criticism. i'm an editor of a newspaper (a lowly high school publication...but whatever), so let's begin. cough* 1. i loved harry. the vision. amongst all of snape's confusion, he's like the trusty helper who can guide him through it. the way you describe their physical interaction also blows me away. i love the description, it's so lovely. 2. most amazingly, there seems to be a different plot apart from a sappy love story. like omg! no way! impossible! but yes. it's amazing. good work! 3. huzzah! it's wonderful! i love this fic like mad! i like the way snape is slightly out of character, his inability to control the situation, harry's spiral into fated love, and the mystery of the mungo attacks! i -especially- love the way minerva tries to feed snape all of the time! ohohoho~ okay, now for the other side of the story. 1. snape has, from the beginning, been slightly out of character. he's a bit more mellow, more relaxed, less anal and revengeful, or snarky, or evil, or psychotic, or a bastard. he's more human and less the scum of the earth. at first, i was a bit skeptical: snape? with human chracteristics?! like no way! but then, it kind of grew on me. he's kind of cool. i think he would have displayed a bit more defiance to the whole thing, researched every damn book and drugged himself with every damn potion before submitting. but i guess that would have dragged it out...and made it annoying. 2. one thing that bugs me kind of is the way harry starts liking snape. it screams of other fanfic plots; physical attraction. with your caliber of writing, i was hoping something else. but then that would start other superficial plots: oh noes harry is in terrible danger! jump out in front of the werewolf, snape! save his life and win his love! no. although that maybe what you're attempting what with all of these attacks on the hospital. like omg! o_O!! 3. this isn't a complaint at all, but i thought harry was going to have this -thing- with percy which severus would totally blow up about. of all of the ploys of jealousy, -that- would have been hella interesting. ohohohO~ 4. i am extremely disapointed with -this- most of all. i am afraid this last aspect troubled me very much and has made it hard to read the story without feeling some amounts of disappointment...shakes head...you updated SO LONG AGO! ah! you can -imagine- how hard it is to read a story that isn't there! well, i do hope you find time, get out of the slump, and get crackin! hopefully the release of the recent books didn't do this to you. T_T okay. happy writings, i love this story! your writing is very good, and i hope to see more of it! ellet
