I completely understand your position.. but I think it would be a real shame to see a story with so much potential remain unfinished. It just wouldn't be right.. We as readers look forward to these stories.. and it's like we're wasting our time, not getting the full package. :(

First of all, this story is quite possibly one of my favorites on this sight, and this chapter was no exception. As far as your "indefinite semi-hiatus" I really wish you wouldn't, and am glad that you're going to finish up your stories. However, I know what it's like to have your realm of comfort change as you get older. I am still an inexperienced writer, so I can't say that has happened for me exactly, but as a senior who has been on the basketball team for the past 3 years, I know what it's like to watch new faces come, and old ones go. The freshman especially seem to have a passion for the game that I have lost, and I will therefore not be on the team this year. Although this is not a perfect example of what you're going through, I know that transition is difficult. I hope that when my time of transition comes again, I will have the courage to admit it to those I care about.

Great story, as always. You have such an amazing talent at writing. I must say that I agree with you about the repetition of characters and scenarios. It's a sad day indeed to hear that you'll be taking lengthy and frequent leaves from your fanfics, for you've developed quite a name for yourself and a rather large fandom. I wish you the best of luck on you other stories and hope that those you now immerse yourself within will be quick to realize you skills (and hopefully some of us "Dark Raion" fans will follow over to your new alias-- I know I will). Like I mentioned before, it's a tragedy to see you go, but I believe there is a new generation of fanfic writers coming in and most from when you were in your prime have taken full leave. The day and age for these types of writings are changing very quickly and I'm glad to see you're keeping up with the crowd. I only hope I can somewhat keep myself in your inspirational tracks. I just wanted to say thank you. Because your was the first fanfiction I ever read (Tower of Dreams at chocoboforest) and since then I found and also found lots of people with the same love or passion about Final Fantasy VI. Because with your stories I found the human part of this fantastic characters, I was at the verge of tears reading "A Rainbow in my Hands" and "Of Angel and Demons" and was incredible happy with the endings of "Happy Rebirthday" and "Somewhere I Belong". Like I write in my last review I will always be waiting your updates not only of this story but also the others one ("Space Cowboy" and "Infatuation of the Rose"). I just want to say thank you for all those years you give us part of you (and your time) with your stories. See you soon.
