Another well done story. I especially enjoyed the scenes between Kit and Neive. With such deep characters, heck, you could write a whole series based on the Beta team alone. So in 4-5 months, it'll be the 1980's all over again (for me). One question though, how can Alysson be pregnant? Is it some "divine intervention?" or did she and Xue do it in a scene we didn't see... wait a minute, since Xue didn't know about her being pregnant, then he can't have been the father. Then again, Anakin didn't know about Leia either. Which reminds me, interesting nickname you gave Allura, calling her "Ally" similar to the way Anakin was called "Ani" in Star Wars ep. 1 but I digress. Great story, good characterization, beginning to love the B-Team, see you soon.

Emphasis on new characters are needed in an ongoing series. Original characters are there to be fleshed out. Without fleshing them out, then there is no sense of them being there. My first stories were "main" character oriented. If you're unwilling to accept that authors are gonna put new characters into the universe they've created, you might was well not read 90% of the stories on this website. This story is barely beginning, yet chastise me for focusing on an important aspect of the story as its being written?

You put to much emphasis on your Original characters. You're just pushing the Mary-sue line by adding so many, and giving brief importance to the other "actually" characters (Pidge, Lance). Remember, this is "Voltron"

oh about a back handed stroke you fell of the face of the earth and came back Mike Tyson style, knocking fans out with your fics old and new! I'm excited. Now that I've got that out of my system I just have to say that I love your story but I got lost. Between Birthrights, _(I can't remember it's name but it's on the KAEX mailing list) and Enemy My Friend The flow of the series left me in a mystery. NOT SAYING THAT IT'S NOT GOOD, by far that's the last thing I'm saying. I'm rushing b/c I have to go to work but the story I could follow it b/c each story in the series weaves through one another but at the same time it's incomplete or I'm just missing something. Like the one you didn't finish on the KAEX ML it pick up from Birthrights but it doesn't flow into Enemy My Friend where as Enemy My Friend flows into Birthright but not the fic you posted on KAEX ML. Maybe it's just me and I need to reread it but DON'T STOP WRITTING THIS NEW FIC I REPEAT DON'T STOP WRITTING THIS NEW FIC I'm excited that you've begun writting again finish up writting what ever it is floating around in your head for the Voltron series that you've started and then revist it...LATTER! ~my mind can't take the strain of 5 year updates leaving my pounding my head screaming "what's going to happen next"
