I really like this fic. I really like the idea of Kurama being born a girl if Youko didn't mess around. It makes many a plot bunny and gives them a perfect explanation. I hope you update soon. I would like to see how the rest of this turns out.

Y'know what'd be really cool? If you make it so it turns out that the female, human Shuichi had been mostly in control the whole time, and Yoko was just being like the second personality in multiple personality disorder. It could be that she herself didn't even realize until the split that the person everyone knew as Kurama was mostly Shuichi all along. You could have her keep powers similar to Yoko's and stay a spirit deterctive and everything. There would have to be some explaining to Shiori of course...

Anyways, this story is really good so far. Sorry I rambled for so long. :P
