I just finished reading your story. What a delightful experience! Several thoughts come to mind. First, this story is well written, that is actually an understatement it’s so well done. Second, you captured the characters and the feel of the movie so well that your story in my minds’ eye was a sequel. Third, the pace and the sequence of events kept me reading. I enjoyed your slowing of the pace at times to provide details and conversations that later would come to be key items in the unfolding of the story but at the time left me with questions. You know how to tell a story! I loved it!

You put together a series of events that led back to the Elders bringing the story full circle. Well thought out and presented. The irony of their initial decisions to get away from the violence that had affected them in the cities that led to so much more tragedy was so sad.

Several times I found myself laughing and more than once your story brought tears to my eyes. I love a story with emotion that I can feel, not just read about. Your story, your writing gave that to me. Your skill as a writer speaks for itself but I have to say it, you are good! Thank you for sharing this story!

Gripping tale.

I've always held to the believe that rather than running around searching for a new paradise, to ruin with yee old reverse Midas touch, we must fix our own messes.

Captain Oblivious 9/13/04 . chapter 10
Oh dear. This has become increasingly complicated. . . and intriguing. I cannot wait to read more, mostly because I can't possibly guess where you're heading with this story, and that is very rare for me. Update soon!

I'm so glad you updated this fic! You've really captured the personalities of all the characters, which makes it REALLY seem like it's the continuation of the story and not some half-assed sugary-feel-good thing. I LOVE the mystery surrounding the skeletons, and for the past couple of chapters you've left me hanging on the edge of my seat! (Now I'm wondering if you'll update before I fall off _)
Doc M 9/8/04 . chapter 10
This is gripping! I love the way you've written the meeting with Kevin! And... what is the mystery of the skeletons?

I can't wait to find out!
jessclifton 9/7/04 . chapter 10

This is developing as an exciting story in the 'Village' fandom! I can't wait to read more! I, for one, thought Walker & co far more scary than any monsters might have been...
