The Mediocre Gatsby 2004-08-18 . chapter 1An interesting perspective into what could conceivably have happened. Spot, for all that people love the little guy, isn't really given much of a background in the movie, and this is a very believable possibility. I also like the fact that it peaks, though very vaguely, into the future. Overall, a good grasp of the character I think.
Only two things I can offer as constructive criticism: first, "And no the Brooklyn Lodging House . . . " should have a comma after "no" and second, while I could be wrong, I don't think the term "teenager" would have been used in the turn of the century; I'm pretty sure it first showed up around the forties. Again, I could be mistaken about this. It happens. Sometimes. Nothing major, I'm just Evil Criticizer Lady.
Anyway, I really liked this very much a lot LIKEWOAH. Keep writin'.
