KissTheRainGirl12489 2004-08-19 . chapter 1Hm...somewhat boring but also very very true.I never looked at it from that point of view.I never imagined or even thought ofthe consequences of if Elrond had killed Isildur. |
slayer9649 2004-08-19 . chapter 1Thank you, Khava! You took our thread at JFA and made a plausible explanation out of it. (Thanks, too, to Ferodir, the hyper kitten) Wonderful story. *hugs* Patricia aka slayer9649 |
Ivy Tante 2004-08-19 . chapter 1Wonderful, sissy! I love the way the question keeps haunting him, coming back time and again even though he has answered the question in hundreds of ways. As difficult as that decision was to make, it is a thousand times more difficult to live with -- and all the repercussions that go with it. Yet he sees all that would be undone by such a choice.
Bravo! Everyone on JFA will be so proud to see this plot bunny brought to heel!

Someone Reading 2004-08-18 . chapter 1Very well done.
You captured the angst, the indecision, the terror, the hopelessness, the guilt of Elrond.
How many times over the thousands of years must he indeed have asked himself that question.
For he was right...had he taken the Ring, had he killed Isildur, Men and Elves would have been locked in combat till the ponds, rivers, ect. ran red with blood.
Very visual story.
Thank you so much for having shared this. |
