This story is absolutly...there are no words to explain how amazing it is. I hope there will be more chapters in the future.

*looks around for a new chapter* Where has our dear silvershark gone? T_T It's been almost a year since your last update and your loyal fans are still patiently waiting for an update. I hope you haven't forgotten about us. I'm still very much in love with this fic and I hope you will have pity on your readers and give us an update soon.

Wow! I read this story in one very long sitting. I've just finished marathoning through Slayers, and this is the first good fic I've stumbled across - and it's /really/ good!

I just love realistic way you write everyone, especially the more mature Lina and - of course - Xellos. He's just so fun to read about... the library scene with Zelgadis was delightfully awkward! But nothing compares to that scene when the kids were born and Lina relaxed for a moment in his arms.

Xellos aside, it's absolutely amazing how you capture the humor and spirit of the original series ('So... which one is the kid?' scene LOL).

...I'm still hoping a mix-up happened and Lina's kid is actually Xellos's. There was a missing week, after all... And you did make a point of not writing it out. On the other hand, wouldn't Lina be worried about it? Plus the baby comment in the birth scene. Yes, I'm grasping straws.

Ok ok! I totally deserve to have my ** beat. I am horrible for not reviewing for all this time especially sine you’ve been so nice with all the updates. Life just distracts you from all the important things like world- like fanfics…but this is no excuse so please punish me anyway you like!
I know my absence is deplorable, but I will give a big long review to help make up for it. The only thing that sucks now is that I can’t threaten you …er persuade you….to update quicker without sounding like a total hyprocrite after not reviewing for over a year. *bows deeply* please forgive me!
And now! On with the reviews!
Ch.16- LOVED IT! Xellos finally got what he deserved! I loved that Lina got to exact her revenge on him; it was perfect! I’m glad that you’re exploring more of Lina’s dark side- her characterization is brilliant! Just picturing Xellos getting tortured brought a smile to my face *maniacal laughter* But I’m also glad the plot is really moving now, I’m looking forward to seeing some of Lina’s new spells.
Ch.17- Woot! More plot development! I wonder what shark-sama *cough* I mean L-sama has planned for our heroine. I loved the part in Filia’s vision where the mazoku were actually helping the humans out of the city. For some reason that was just hilariously funny to me. Also loved the kind of Xellos and Lina bonding life and death moment you had going on in the vision.
Ch.18 Yeah! An extra long chapter! And we finally got to meet the evil mastermind behind everything! Hatred much? Someone definitely needs therapy…but on a happier note, Xellos is free! Yeah! Time for more mischief making! I also loved the Xellos sex-god jibe from Bleed- that gave me a good laugh
However the most shocking revelation was that Lina’s pregnant?! What!? I never saw that one coming..honestly! I wonder how she’ll handle this news. Guess I’ll find out!
Ch.19- Lina’s outburst is totally relatable: “I need to prepare myself for this without anyone gushing about the stupid wonderful miracles of life.” Well I hear yah on that one.
Ch.20- Oh man, I can’t believe you ended there! I really can’t wait for the next chapter to come out! And poor Xellos..being called a pet, must be torture for him not being able to kill anyone..lol. But why is Xellos acting so strange around Lina..hmm… very intriguing! I’m hoping that you’ll update very soon!
And please tell us about these Slayers OVA’s that came out in April. Have you seen them yet?

P.S. I saw that the couple label on the top of the fic says Xel and Lina. Now I don’t know how long that has been there, but THANK YOU SO MUCH! When I saw that, I just started bursting with happiness! I really could not stop smiling! You really made my day with that, so once again THANK YOU! Keep up the great writing!

I disagree with Anna vehemenently. I will not go into details about my arguement of Mazoku love/feelings because that is not the subject here. The purpose to leave a review here is to praise silvershark-sama's work. I looked forward to reading this chapter ever since it appeare in my hotmail box and waited until I had the proper amount of time needed so that I would not need to rush through it. I was not dissapointed.

And I can't wait for Lina to be with Xellos. I hope the circumstances are not unhappy. ^-^

Heh. And I, unlike your other reviewer, am very happy with the G/L relationship here and would be very displeased with a X/L pairing, mainly, as I said in another review, because love is not something a mazoku could feel or tolerate. There may be attraction, but it would be of an evil sort. As the Lesser Beast, yes, perhaps he could have animal lust, the kind that wants to possess and devour, reveling in chaos without a true care for the feelings of the object of obsession. Also as the Lesser Beast, I can see him easily inciting pure lust. Heck, he certainly does it for fangirls! Ah, the deliciousness of intelligent wickedness and a cute face.

But strong attraction/obsession is not love. Ask anyone who has attracted a stalker. Warm, supportive love without domination and possessiveness would be very, very OOC for Xellos. And very IC for Gourry. Lina might be very satisfied in bed with Xellos, but that would be all he could give her.

But, hey, it's your vision and your story that should count to you, not what people think you should write. The story is well told and interesting, enough to make people make lots of comments, whether there's agreement or not.

(Very niggling nit-pick: according to Webster's dictionary, a male is a blond, a female is a blonde, but, feh, it's a very common mistake to call a man a blonde.)

Hurray! Update! A good update too. While I am still opposed to how Lina/Gouury this story is, I hold on to the fact that Lina/Xellos is promised in the future. I wonder, seeing how Bleed has explained about the Chaos child bit, if that is why Adlina is so attached to Lina, and can tell if she is in the room or not. Having her tap into that chaos energy as a child...maybe it'll improve her demonish powers when she grows up? Kinda like breastmilk makes you healthy? Just a thought. Anyway, good job. Keep up the good work!
