It's perfect (expecially if I just ignore the song part of it). I've read several of your pieces and they are all wonderful, but I really, really love this one.
sugar-n-spice1 2004-11-10 ch 1,	abuseOH WOW! that was so sweet! i haven't finished TBO yet, but in almost all the JE fics on the board, joe and steph break up for good, and steph starts working for rangeman inc. does that really happen? wiat! don't tell me! i wan to read it for myself! newayz, that was a great little fic, even though i really don't like singfics very much; i think they take away from the story. but your fic really brings out the characters and the way you would have expected things to turn out in the end. I hope you continure writing JE fics, and maybe branch out to other fics as well. Personally, i write harry potter fics. Holbeth 2004-08-28 ch 1,	abuseI really enjoyed this story. I really hope that in the next Plum book Stephanie & Ranger will get together again. I desperately hope that when Janet Evanovich decides to send the series, that she ends it with a Steph/Ranger pairing, or (second choice) a reformed-Morelli/Steph pairing. As much as I love the Plum books, Morelli has become a disturbing character - he's sexy, he says he loves her but he is always trying to change her. He's tried to force Stephanie to change herself, give up her job, give up her relationship with Ranger; he's been controlling, manipulative, and down-right nasty at times. Can that really be the kind of love Stephanie wants? Ranger has controlled the boundaries of their relationship - how much she knows about his life, how much she knows about his work, their relationship after sex... But he has always supported her, tried to give her the tools her to help herself, tried not to interfer with her independence unless it was life & death. Ranger has always been there for her, without asking her to be someone she's not. Well, except to make her curb her curiosity at times... And he does love her - I think "...in his own way" shows that he knows what he needs and that he can love her withought expecting anything in return. That is what makes me want Ranger to be the man Stephanie ends up with... Of course, there are the finge benefits as well. Sexy as hell, great shower gel, incredible sheets, fab food & maid service, a safe apartment, incredible sex...and unconditional love... What more could a woman want? Sorry for the ramble but it had to be said. I hope someone out there agrees with me!
