I like it! I'm always a big fan of Turks fiction. It's a very fun read. As per usual, wish it wasn't a one shot lol.

Ah, hurray for Elena/Reno banter. I love it. Very nice. That Reno certainly is naughty, with that evil smirk on his face. I like this happy Turk moment... Lovely story, chica. Now all I need from you is more VinTif yumminess... :glomps all her final fantasy men thoroughly: Keep writing!

This is such a cute story! I'm really happy that Elena's in character, a lot of people seem to have a hard time with her.

Ah, so nice to see you back! It's great! I've been missing your stuff. Sorry I didn't review this earlier but it's been pretty hectic around here. Today I decided to steal ten minutes for myself and read your story. It was definitely worth it! ^_^

Oh, I loved it! I absolutely loved it! Honestly, what a great piece of writing! It was cute and fluffy at times and at others there was this undertone to 'something else' that made it more memorable than any pure fluff piece. Honestly, it was great. I loved the fact that Elena was honored to be accepted into a bar with them (and by that, really into the Turks). I loved Reno's line about Elena surviving a month and all the interactions around the pool table. Most of all, I loved the fact that Reno called Elena 'Elena' at the end. *grins*

Still, like I said, the reason why I love this story is because it isn't just fluff. Really, if you think about it for any amount of time, there's a lot of undercurrents in it. It was masterfully done. For example, why did the rest of the Turks take one month to let Elena into the group? It's just like Reno said... she had to survive 1 month first. Who knew if she'd make it? How hard would it be to make friends with someone right away just to have them die on you in the first week? Clever, clever JessAngel. What great writing!

I liked it so much, I think I'll add it to my 'favourites' list. ^_^ So nice to have you back JessAngel!

I don't know why I found that so cute, but I honestly did. Maybe it was just something about Reno playing pool and and using Elena's name. After lots of Elena angst, seeing her just being happy is almost overwhelmingly adorable. I loved Reno, as always, but I also really loved how you managed to somehow give clear character to both Rude and Tseng with so few lines. I could just picture them there, and it seemed right. Yes, in short, I absolutely, ridiculously loved it. Now that I finally read it. Just thought you should know. ^^

After searching fruitlessly in a seemingly barren desert, I've come across a Turkfic. A good Turkfic! :D

I loved the lighthearted nature of the fic, as your reviewers have already said. Elena was just great. Not maligned, not made out to be another random blonde ditz. And the Turks accept her. Huzzah!

^^ YAY! I have never read a turk-centric fic before (unless you count vinnie :P) and I liked this! I always liked Elena, Reno as well, and it's interesting to discover more about their characters. Nice job! I liked how she was in the same predicament I'm sure I'd be in in that situation-in the midst of all these guys, all of em hot. HOW CAN ONE GIRL COPE!? LOL.

Ah. Excellent, excellent work with "Rookie Day" -I had been looking forward to this, and it most certainly didn't disappoint. Nice nuances with all the Turks; you kept them all in character (I especially liked how Rude stepped in to help Elena out ^^;;) while painting them with a lighter hand than most... but also keeping them *Turks*. Cheers; to one of the best Elenas, and one of the best inter-Turk dynamics-depictions. Keep 'em coming!

By the way... was it you that thought of writing a Relena with predilections towards smuttiness... which, by the end of the fic, becomes 'aw, hell, let's just go for pizza.'? I forget. But if it *was* you... ís that plot-bunny ever going to see the light of day?

Man... that was great. ^_^ Especially since there haven't been any good and happy Turk fics out since just about forever! ;_; You're my hero.
Well, I think it was executed very nicely -- I especially like your style and the mechanisms (whatever you might call them) used. I genuinely like your Elena! ^_^ Her point of view was perfect for this... switching between how much she wanted to hurt Reno and begrudging compliment. He was pretty obnoxious, but some of those moments in there were just priceless. ^_^ I liked the paragraph about how strange it was to catch him off-guard, as well as how uncomfortable she felt so near to Tseng... and, of course, the part about her feeling like she finally belonged.
Y'know, since that Reno/Elena you wrote a long time ago, I've been looking out for any more Turk stuff you might come out with. And not a moment too soon! ^_^ It's wonderful to read something light and happy and GOOD for a change!!

Oh ho that was a fun read, Jess. Haven't read any Turk-centric fics for a long time, especially ones that are very light hearted ^_^ It was nice to read something focusing on Elena as well (I somehow relate to her in terms of being a rookie of some sort and not just for being the only female in a large male crowd ^^;;). Reno's role was very dominant here, acting like the host to Elena's welcoming as a Turk, if not a bit of a naughty bad boy XD I don't know what would happen if he supposedly pinched my backside. Oh my...AHEM. Pardon me for going off topic there.

Generally all the Turks were being rather cool here. Rude was nice to help Elena out, giving her clear instructions on how to play pool properly. Kudos to Rude ^_^

Yeah actually when you mentioned Blondie bear, I recognised that quote from Buffy then thought, "Oh don't be silly. Your Buffy addiction is getting to your head." But I laughed at myself when I realised the blondie bear bit really was from Buffy anyway XD

I enjoyed this piece of writing, Jess. It was a 'feel good' story :)
