This is an interesting story you've written...it was a little unusal when it came to crying to figure out what time period this was set...especially when it came the the discription of clothing, building structures, lighting (candle/flipping on a switch) and plumming...hope to read your next update soon.

you know, you write really really well, but you don't go very fast. i keep checking to see if you have another chapter but you don't. not to be mean or anything, but can you write faster? you don't want to, it's just a suggestion. I really love it so far though. keep up the good work! :3
