A lovely story. I really like the way you told it by letting Droin tell it to us instead.
Also I like the fact that Legolas was ill because he suffered from being seperated from his mate.
And I really love when Droin says: "Maybe there is no such place in this Middle-Earth of ours; maybe they will have to create one." ... I'm sure they will.

I don't normally read slash, but I liked the way you did this, it's a good story, and I like the way you use Droin as a sort-of narrater answering questions the reader doesn't see.

That was great; so very sad, so very sweet! And the happy ending was so wonderful! I liked Droin, he was fun to listen to as he told the story. Nice writing, very real and so lovely. You showed Legolas and Gimli so clearly through Droin's eyes, subtly yet plainly. Excellent!

Geez. Another one I didn't review! _ What's wrong with me! I really like how you used a third party to narrate the story. You got down the feel of a storyteller and really had me involved in the story. It was very sweet, the reunion and made all the more potent after the description of Gimli's behavior. A really awesome story.

What an adorable story! It was quite interesting to hear about Gimli and Legolas' relationship from the point-of-view of an observant dwarf.

I usually dont like G/L slash, but this was cute. i like the third-person narrator; you've done a wonderful job with his personality and voice.
