I'm all for symbolism and abstract undertones and such, but this might be just a bit too vague for many people. It may help if you tell what exactly happened at the end in a little AN. I've always thought that the kazaana was taken too lightly, ignored in folly, and I enjoy the way you made himso desperate to live as to seek help from the corrupted jewel shard (and Naraku, if I'm reading between the lines correctly). To expect to die at such an age... Well, ignoring the depressing undertones, I really liked this one-shot. You put a different spin on the wind tunnel (it was still bad, but in a good way). At least they were together in the end, no? In the end, I guess that's all that really matters. PS - The absence of AN's in the beginning and ending of the story helped the flow/feeling.
