Is this supposed to be complete?

This is a great story. You are a great writer and I wish I had read this sooner. I love that you've made a new story (Sadows and Blood book 3) and I can't wait to read that too.

Seeing as how this story's based on one of my own stories, I think it'd be silly for me NOT to review this ;-)

I read this story on the Redwall FF board when you first wrote it a little while ago - I liked it then, and I still like it now.

You've nailed the ruthlessness of the civets and their rather helter-skelter society (which a lot of people have had trouble understanding), and you've also nailed down Ebb's dry humor for the most part. The line about the heads on the rug might've been different, but I won't fault you for that.

The story itself is very good. Nice and short, but also delivering great thrills in the short period of time the story is told.

It also sets up some stuff in After the Rain and the upcoming Like Shattered Glass.

All in all, excellent work! I'm glad you and I are liking each other's creations so much!
