Couldn't stop reading. :-) I wasn't very pleased at first with the tach you took with Steph/Tank, but it was very well written and I think you handled the situation with class and a lot of feeling. I know that guys think with their nether parts, most of the time anyway, but kind of expected a bit more loyalty to Ranger than to sleep with Steph. However, at the point in the story, it wasn't really about the plan but more that she was taking control of her life and choices. Especially, as she was feeling that the situation with Ranger was hopeless, at that moment. I was a little disappointed at the ending. I felt it was a bit abrupt, and would have liked the last chapter to have been developed a bit more. A sequel or a oneshot would be nice. I have a new favorite author. Keep up the good work. BTW, my panties melted in several chapters. :-) Mag

Kaeldra Rhiannon 2007-11-11 ch 9,	abuseOMG that was absolutely wonderful. You write very similar to Evanovich. A little bit more fast-paced than her, but still similar. Fantastic work on characterizations and plotline, as well as making a developed history for Ranger that makes sense and fits him. Well, except for the fear of clowns. LOL Seriously, honestly, this story was awesome. I couldn't stop reading it, it was wonderful. Continue writing, you make some awesome stuff!

If you can't write 'em your way in fanfiction, what's the point? Extremely rushed and muddled ending, though. Disappointing when the rest was so good.
rangersredhead 2007-03-22 ch 9,	abuseWhoa. When I read that Steph was going to work her way through the Merry Men, my first thought was, "Yikes! Hold up!" Followed closely by, "Damn, Tank's hot." The story turned out to be terrific - I blew off entirely too much work because I couldn't stop reading. Okay, so maybe she's a tad sluttier than in the actual series (I would be, too, surrounded by all those hot men), but her motivations worked and the guys were sweet. I really liked Ranger's vulnerabilities. All the women in his life leave him - oh, make me cry! My only complaint is that the ending seemed rushed and not up to the danger level you set forth with Alec running around. Oh, and not enough R/S smut. Then again, I could read nothing but R/S smut and be very, very happy. Maybe I'm just oversexed.

CE-CO 2006-11-07 ch 9, anon.	abuseLiked most of the story - I couldn't get into the Steph/Tank, Steph/Lester thing, and Ranger's reaction to his best friend getting it on with his love interest, just didn't seem real (or rather true to character). I don't think the Ranger I've come to love would tolerate this happening to him. I don't think JE's Stephanie would be so overly sexual with Ranger's friends either. She wouldn't risk losing Ranger's friendship for physical satisfaction. In JE's books, Stepanie over thinks, over analyzes her relationship with both Joe and Ranger. So, some of this story it too out of character for my liking. I would like to think that Rangers merry men hold more loyalty to him too. I find that they all cross that line in some way. I would like for Ranger and Stephanie to get together, but not at the expense of their own morality.
