I almost didn't read past the first couple of sentences as I feared it was a misplaced R/Hr fic (b/c that wrist/hand-grabbing moment when Harry first approaches Buckbeak seems to be one of the R/Hr shippers' faves to point out their "love" to an obsessive H/Hr believer like me). But I saw that the next chapter was Harry's view, so I knew that perhaps you were indeed a true believer like myself, and I'm so glad I did! You have put into words what I could not, and thank you for being an inspiration to the minority of H&H shippers out there! (While I am aware there are plenty of ff'ers who write such fics, all of the Potterheads I actually meet seem to be more the "auburn" mix, if you catch my drift). Anyway, keep up the amazing work, and I hope that you might actually continue beyond just the thoughts in this fic.

You know, the other day I was cleaning My Documents and I found this (you once sent it to me) and I was wondering why you had never put it up.

And today I got the e-mail notice that you had uploaded a new story (it took me a while to recognize it was your thanks to your different username) and I was incredibly happy it is this drabble.

I told you already that I really liked it and I'll say it again. It's a lovely look at H/Hr relationship and how that simple gesture (holding hands) is such an important thing for Hermione.
