Wow, I was scanning through my old favorites and I found this story again after so long. I forgot how good it was until I read it again years later...it's beautiful how you wrote the relationship between Kenshin and his son. It's funny and sweet at the same time. Love reading it and I hope you haven't gave up on this story!

But you know what I totally don't get is the sympathy Kiyosato Akira gets from fans. I mean all the man did in the series was die and managed to get in a good swing in the process...

I agree with you; the manga is way better than the OVAs. I didn't like how they made Kenshin all depressed and sick, and how Kenji absolutely despises him.

Anyways, I hope you return soon (even after four years ...). Keep up the good work!

I am definetely not the only one up there who waits for an update of "The Reason", but nonetheless I beg you: please, write more! This story is the best one I've ever read on I my heart bleeds that it's unfinished. It really is a very good plot and excellently written. Keep up the great work!

Oh, and I forgot to put in my review:

Normally, two or three year olds don't know the word "yawarakai". And "daisukinai"... well, technically, it makes sense, but it's... just wrong. It should have been "daikirai" or "kirai". Opposite of "suki" which is 'to like', "kirai" is 'to hate'.

Personally, it's not a real big thing, but some other readers might notice. You know, the little details we have to be aware of. Or you can just pass it off as Kenji's super genius-ness. ^_^;; I mean, he knows a lot of words for a two-year-old.
