You have very good plotlines! Of course...Im still a bit confused at how Fred came back...or how the Shanshu worked on two people...also...why would Fred Marry Spike, when she's inlove with Wesley? I guess he has been dead for a year when this story takes place...hm...just a little confued about the whole "Fred came back and the Shanshu was doubled"...still, Superbly written and all that jazz. You really know how to keep the characters true to themselves! Good work!

Wow... I love this! Sad and sweet, and I've never thought of seeing a Spike/Fred pairing :p Although it makes sense in some way. I'm glad Spike survived the finales that killed off so many other characters :( Wish the others had made it, though, too.

I wouldn't normally review my own fic, because I think it's cheesey. However, there won't be any additions to this particular fic and I wanted to address a couple things.

First, thanks to all that commented. This was my first foray into the Buffy verse, and comments both good and bad have given me nerve to continue. And Hieiko, I'm especially glad you liked the last line. I love Buffy Summers, but the "beneath you" crap really annoyed me.

To "Toxic Cutie," I do appreciate constructive criticism. However, both Amy Acker and Joss Whedon have given interviews which indicate that had season 6 happened, Fred would have come back in some way shape or form. Joss has also given interviews which indicate that he thought about bringing back Tara as well. All are widely available on the net. Feel free to do a google. And Oz DID come back. Several times. So did Darla, and each of her deaths were supposed to be the "last." That happened, oh, about three times. So your comments, if well meaning, were misinformed. Also, Spike with children? Dawn. That one should be obvious. To have Spike behave in any other way would be out of character for him.

Finally, I would caution against using the term "any true fan," because it makes you look childish. Being a fan of a show isn't a contest, and using such terminology hinders what might otherwise be a productive critique.

Very, very good. This could totally happen. Loved it.

great story. I know this was a one chapter thing. but u should try continuing it and make it longer. It'd be original, Spike married to Fred with a daughter, never heard of any other fics like that plus it be kinda interesting to see what happens. Just a thought...
