Good job on the revisioning of The Weapon. Sorry I haven't been able to comment early on, but there's not much else I could add to this storyline before.

Only thing I'm truly surprised by is the fate of the Empire in this revision. I didn't think you would do that, but I'm not complaining.

Once again, good job. Let's hope you get the sequel to this up soon.

A rather ballsy move by Carter not to take the situation up with the higher ups and just give the order to surrender a powerful weapon. I like this interpretation better. Keep it up.

This is really good. Extremely descriptive. I've been riveted to it. Keep going it's looking really interesting. Can't wait to see how many teams you're going to bring into this.

You must have had this done a long time ago to be able to upload THREE chapters within a 24 hour period. In any case, speaking as someone who has actually read the story of which this is supposed to be a revision of, all I can tell you is... this is much better.

Although I find much of the text is the same as before with slight tweaks, I'll admit that I had a more enjoyable experience reading this story. The way things have been re-arranged makes for smoother reading.

It's just too bad you didn't keep The Weapon, as it would have been good for me to compare this to that. But to each his own, I suppose. Anyway, sorry for ranting. I look forward to reading the rest when it gets out.
