Glyph Shane 2007-01-06 . chapter 3I love it. (insert fangirlish squeal here). You do Mrs. Peel very well. ^^ |
DianeB 2006-01-13 . chapter 3Please keep writing! You've captured Steed and Emma's characters perfectly. And I'm *so* glad to read someone who understands how to write point of view! Very well done - but, please keep going! |

LizGrayson 2005-03-07 . chapter 1Tara, this is quite a wonderful little vignette! I like it!:) But you have to get on the ball and write more chapters for us, or I'll go to the corner and pout You've captured the tension of their relationship perfectly, and I like having both points of view! Please write more soon.

 Johnny O 2005-03-04 . chapter 3Dear Tara,
Very, very good!
Don't worry you kept Emma and Steed completely in character.
At this stage of their relationship, they are indeed just flirting and/or bantering back and forth.
I see you showed feelings of both Emma and Steed via their thoughts to themselves. That's hard to do, at least for me, but you've kept a good balance between how much each has felt.
I think you hit the nail on the head in this third part. But I see two versions.
And I can't figure which I like more.
The second shows more frustration and inner feelings on Emma's part, but the first has more of the flirting between them.
Perhaps the two versions can be combined somehow.
All in all, I like it, and I think you're doing a very good job.
Congratulations!
My Very Best Regards,
Johnny O. |
Biff 2005-02-11 . chapter 3 Sorry it's taken me so long to post any comments since chapter one. Chapter two is a nice tease for us (and for Steed). I loved reading his "it was my dream after all". Reminds us of Too Many Christmas Trees. Chapter three is great fun. Seeing the events from the individual perspectives, reading their minds in a way, is a very neat trick. Looking forward to more! |
Dreamweaver74 2005-02-01 . chapter 3This is a show I've loved since I was wee, and the flirtation between John and Emma always was a joy to watch. Reading your delightful story is like watching a dream episode, and I can't wait to see how it ends! |
megastarlite 2005-01-31 . chapter 3You're managing to keep us quite nicely teased with your latest chapter!
The use of the dual perspectives is quite interesting. The reader becomes aware that Steed and Emma have the same desires for one another...but THEY are not yet aware of this.
You are staying true to the characters--your situations and dialogue seem quite authentic, and your pacing is good. Take your time getting them together--just make sure they DO in the end! And I know that you will... |
Sandi 2005-01-30 . chapter 3 Great story! Love the banter. Can't wait for the next installment. |
 Mia-Hood 2005-01-17 . chapter 2THIS STORY IS AWESOME! Please continue?! |
Miss Poisonous 2004-12-31 . chapter 2Hi! I got a DVD collection of The Avengers for my birthday, and as soon as I watched it I knew I wanted to see Steed and Mrs Peel act on the obvious chemistry between them! This story is great, I really hope you're continuing it! Don't be discouraged by lack of reviews, it's a very good story, no matter what other people think! Please update soon! |
Biff 2004-10-31 . chapter 1 The End? I just discovered this story and you simply can't stop here! It's fun and tantalizing. Thanks for what's posted, but please, more! |
Karmyn 2004-08-31 . chapter 1Interesting little story, nice work on Emma's thoughts. I would love to see a sequel to this. Just how does Emma's little plan work? I'm curious. Please do write more. |
