In my opinion you should've described the battles. It really took away from the story, in my opinion, when suddunly the story jumps ahead. It was distracting to me, and it made it hard to get back into the story. I'm glad you added some of their thoughts afterwards, but maybe you could make those sections a little longer to make up for not having the battles. It seems like you're not enjoying writing the fic anymore, so it'd probably be good to end the story after evil forest.

i dnt care how long you take to do the last chapter as long as its as good as the rest and im glad u didnt do the battles woulda taken way to long.
