Wow. What a sad but well-written story. Definitely a three-hanky rating (very sad). One small thought: put an AU warning on this. Some readers (but not me ) might get testy about that.

You might want to put AU in the story description. It is majorly outside of Star Wars "history", in case you aren't aware.

I can't offer any tips, I'm afraid. I've read better & I've read worse stories, which I've also been told about my own writing. If it makes you feel any better, I preferred it over my literature homework… :)
