It is amazing that through the whole series neither of them truly snapped in regards to the personal tension

I love the way you wrote the fire between them in this, although the ending is a bit abrupt (I can see why you left it up to the reader's imagination though). I'm not sure I believe he'd be that disrespectful, or that she'd react so desperately, but it was well-written.
