With the types of parents Lucas had, the entire inccident most likely would have been swept under the rug. Or pleabarggened. In fact, most cases never make it to court. Mostly it's just lawyers talking to each other.
Lucas never would have been in that court room. He would have been arrested, let out on bond, then the lawyers would have taken care of everything. It would have taken several months, but most likely, he would have gotten off without any type of jail time, some sort of probation. And, if his lawyer was really good, he/she would have found that the police/DA did something wrong while arresting Lucas, and the entire case would have been thrown out.

Well, it was interesting. Kind of like all the bad things that can happen to teenagers all rolled into one. It was sort of overwhelming to that end. I'm not sure Lucas' problems from the beginning of the story are resolved by the end of the story and there's no talk of counseling. Since Bridger obviously was ineffective at the beginning, how is he going to help in the end? YOu haven't conviced me that a long talk is going to solve anything. Also, you spelled Wolenczak wrong.

You finally finished, that was very cool. Man, wish for you to keep on writing, ya talent is very cool! Hope ya the best! ROCK ON!
