This was VERY cute!! I'd like to see some associated one-shots, like with Inu/Kai and Tezuka and Fuji's date! (And I want Taka to be happy...But, I think he is, really.) I have to admit, I often wanted to kick Eiji and yell 'It's called puberty, you dolt!' ^_^

Found your fanfic about the "Brownie the Cat" song! Now I recall reading this last year, and it was one of the first fanfics I read. I still like it. You did a good job fitting the story to the lyrics.

I remember this: "A/N: who's refereeing?" At first, I imagined it to be another regular, but it wouldn't fit, so I imaginged a rival school player (no one in particular).

Then I recall Oishi saying that he has to take care of the team with Captain Tezuka away, but Captain Tezuka was at practice. So I took it to mean he had to take care of the team. In other words, talking about the past.

I tend to understand Oishi better than Kikumaru. When I read this last year, I had some trouble understanding Kikumaru's behavior during the fight until later descriptions. It was the same for the fight in Episode 52. I had to read some fanfics about it before I totally understood Kikumaru's POV. Maybe that's why Oishi was easier for me to write in my fanfics.

I remember being glad that Echizen wasn't choked to death. However, I later began to think he probably should have been for his arrogance. He does look down at others. Still, when I read about him getting killed, I don't like it, so I'm still glad he just fainted instead of died. That jumping on him and choking him is really Kikumaru.

I also would have liked to read more about the Tezuka/Fuji part.

I felt sorry for Kawamura too.

I didn't find the characters OOC.

Hey! You know, you remind me of Eiji a little yourself. You put in those author's notes that are so funny when you call yourself. Like when you asked who exactly was refereeing the game. Eiji's my fav you know. With Ryoma of course. :P

I was curious about two things. When Eiji and Oishi were having their fight, I think Oishi said something about taking care of everyone until the Captain returned. Then Tezuka was clearly there when Oishi ran into him and Fuji. Did I misunderstand, or was that just overlooked by accident? I can understand if it was. I have so much trouble trying to keep track of what I've already said when I'm writing my own stories.

Second, is "chocking" a word? I wouldn't normally ask, but I'm really confused. I see it in all the fanfictions and at first I thought it was a misspelling of choking. But I can't believe so many people would make the same mistake. I looked it up online though and couldn't find any definition close to how it's used in stories. So now I feel like either I'm missing out on something or there's some miracle of mistakes being made since there really shouldn't be so many people doing the same thing.

I think you really have a flare for descriptions. There's no other way to describe it! You just do.

Okay, I guess that's it for now. I think your Oishi was in character by the way.

I really liked the story. It took me through several different emotions, as I mentioned at LJ. I like the happy ending, and how you managed to put in all the regulars into the story.

Yay! Yayayayayayayayayay! I read this story ages ago, and now it's done! I love that I came back to a happy ending. ^^

I realize your story was published, well, a while back, but I just read it and really enjoyed it. In the early chapters, your dialogues of the golden pair were dead on and I loved how Eiji developed into his feelings despite his own selfish and immature tendencies. Loved it!

Clap! Clap! Clap! I just loved the sweet and fluffy ending! A great story!! Well Done!!

One bit of negativety, Please do not put author notes in the story itself as its distracting and somewhat amaturerish. But on a lighter note, very nice and am looking forward to reading the end.

Its easy enough to go from Lovey-dovey to Irritated when the one you love annoys you and they can't see it! Looking forward to reading next chapter!...which will be in about five minutes!
