KateKazoo 2009-10-24 . chapter 11i love your stories.they are amazing.this chapter , the last scene in particular made me cry.it was heart breaking.you are talented. |
SnowCharms 2009-10-16 . chapter 27I wonder if you knew how suspenseful the last chapter was, I nearly stopped breathing while my eyes were skimming quickly down the lines, desperately wanting to know about whether or not he'll survive, and not wanting to miss out anything that was written.
All in all, it seems to me that you prefer ending your stories in a much happier light, if not bittersweet. I'm quite surprised that you can still find the time to update so many of them at once despite the long chapters. However, this was a well-written fic, though I wished that I could at least memorise one or two lines from Macbeth, there was one that stood out to me though. "Stars, hide your fires. Let not light see my black and deep desires."
Congratulations on finshing this fic, and I pray that you will continue your doing such a good work. |
 It Ain't Me 2009-10-01 . chapter 27*
Brilliant story! FIVE STARS all the way, and, even though you may not read this review, you deserve every single praise you get and more!
I laughed, I cried, I gasped in surprise, I shook my head, and much more... ; the story frightened me as much as it amazed me! |
broadwayb 2009-09-29 . chapter 1okay, let me just say... *ahem* DAYUM!!
okay, now that's out of the way. this has to be the absolute BEST Dramione I have ever had the pleasure to read. I can't even start a new story because I find myself comparing it to your excellence! The fact that their story is set to the backdrop of Macbeth is sheer brilliance! I found myself finding this the most absolute believable Dramione i have ever read. Taking a close second is "We Learned the Sea" by luckie1. i found myself disappointed that you've yet to update "Fallen" but i have found consolation in FINALLY finding the perfect Dramione. I applaud you with a standing ovation.
on a side note, I am a HUGE Muse fanatic, and every time I hear their song "Undisclosed Desires" I think of "Macbeth" and I have concluded it's because I'm listening to the song from Hermione's POV. yeah... check it out, tell me if you concur with my line of thought lol. |
put here 2 feel joy 2009-09-27 . chapter 14I don't want you to get sick of my reviews but I wanted to answer your question. I actually read the summary of Macbeth before I even attempted to read your story. I was afraid I wouldn't understand if I didn't know the plot of the play first. I want so dearly to read the actual play but Shakespeare is far above my current reading comprehension level. |
put here 2 feel joy 2009-09-27 . chapter 12"Does anyone else find it extremely embarrassing explaining to someone not in HP circles about the Draco/Hermione ship?"
Oh yes. lol Every time I attempt to tell friends / family / strangers about what I write I am forced to mention that I write "stories that take place in the Harry Potter universe" and that I always write about a certain couple "who would normally never get on together in the slightest" because they hate each other. It is always awkward.
It's 1:03AM and I can't stop reading this fic. I keep saying to myself, "Just one more chapter and that's it." I started that about 4 chapters ago. :P |
put here 2 feel joy 2009-09-26 . chapter 6You already know this fanfic is excellent because of the 2,0+ reviews you've gotten but I wanted to let you know that I'm reading this and I love it.
Oh and that I also played the Innkeeper in the Nativity play at church. That made me giggle a little bit. :) |
 miikka-xx 2009-08-21 . chapter 27Gorgeous. Absolutely amazing.
The way you still keep Malfoy's prejudices in the story is an amazing feat and I am absolutely in love.
Hermione was perfect: stubborn, willful, maternal.
It was what you did with Draco that made this story such a treat. You made him insane, you made him prejudice and you still managed to make him fall in love.
AMAZING.
You are a beautiful writer and I hope you can continue more DHr stories. In return for letting us read this gorgeous piece of work, I shall stalk your profile page for more. :D |

Steel Scorpion 2009-08-07 . chapter 27Hello there! Just finished this story. This might be one of the best things I have ever read. I nearly had a panic attack with two scenes/chapters left that you would kill Draco and I would leave some horrid and angry review. I had chills. You are a genius! |
 Confused Person #2 2009-08-04 . chapter 3 Isn't Blaise Zabini male? |
bacchus 2009-07-27 . chapter 11 'she sank to the floor, knees against her chest, and -for no reason she could pinpoint - cried.'
malfoy is going to kill people on the qualification that they are of muggle descent, much like her.
seems pretty pin-pointable,no? |
Doni 2009-07-26 . chapter 27Excellent job mingling the story and the play. Very dark and sad, but with some hope at the end. Nice work. |
csjy 2009-07-05 . chapter 27 That..was really w-o-n-d-e-r-f-u-l. No other word for it. It was to quote from the series, "Bloody brilliant!"
Perfect suspense, lovely parallelism with Shakespeare, the emotions and all.
Woah, just woah.
The one little snip I could nitpick on is the emotional build-up to Draco confiding in Hermione, because it was a bit abrupt, considering the huge Mudblood prejudice and all. He just wasn't...well, Draco-ish enough. But I agree that he is a very, hm, scared character - you brought that out enjoyably, and though it was bordering on the impossible I must say that for a non-canon fic this was...breathtaking.
It helps that I have a soft spot for Philo, of course(: We discussed humanity last year too!
And I think I just caught your infectious passion for Shakespeare. I'm gonna go and find a copy and read it thoroughly asap...thanks!
[And just fyi my mouth is hanging wide open, and my eyes would be equally big if only I could get my eyelids to stop aching from reading this non-stop. GRATS on a wonderful piece!] |
