What a sweet story - sad and romantic all at the same time. Your characterisations of Jarod and Miss P are in keeping with the show and your DSA sequence is so well written I can visualise it on screen. A truly lovely piece of writing. I'm new to tP fanfic and this is the second story of yours that I've read - can't wait to read the others and to see new stuff from you. Thank you for sharing your fics.

I say this not *only* because it fits in perfectly with *my* image of Jarod (and Miss P) :-)
but because it's well-written, well-developed, and the flashback/DSA sequence is equally canonical.
Excellent. I especially love the visual of his putting the paper heart into the model of her house.

that is the best story endign or beginning to the end of the pretender that i have read in a long time. i have been obsessed with the pretender since 20 and i have wanted more and more stories because each just wasn't enough. i finally
have closure. the reason this works so well is because it goes to the heart of who they are and not about the centre. maybe the scrolls had nothing to do with power except blinding people into it. except for those caught in the cross fie. Thank you. keep writing on to this story. if you don't -that is fine too. for i have closure with their relationship.

Finally, I'm able to leave a review for this story. As for the story, it was excellent. Loved the ending. Looking forward to reading more of your stories, so keep up the good work.

It's been a very long time since I've seriously read much in the way of tP fics, but what a wonderful re-introduction!

Such a sweet scene between Miss Parker and Jarod, and very much in keeping with characterisation. I especially loved MP's comment to Lyle about Raines being in his office - that was just so much like her! Brilliant!

I also like you ending. It's all open and leaves us to our own extrememly vivid imaginations! :D
