Interesting start. I like the awkwardness between Ryan and Seth. Interesting that Ryan is considering college still, even though he hasn't left Chino. I'm glad he didn't loose everything the Cohens gave him (hope). I'd read more, even though I'm not a fan of the "slash."

I really like it so far! I've seen a lot of post-finale fics but this? Haven't read it before. And that's a good thing. I love the part of about Kirsten & Sandy being stingy with the cars still.

"At first, he hadn't understood why Ryan had left, but the more he thought about it, he realized that he couldn't not leave. It wouldn't have been true to his character... he wouldn't have been the boy he'd fallen in love with."

Perfect words. And so true. And deliciously Seth/Ryan-y. Ah - I think I'm going to enjoy this story.

And I love how Seth describes Ryan & his attraction to him: "He did have that indescribable, somewhat peppery scent that came with his perfectly toned body but Seth felt it transcended the physical."

I can't wait for more :)
