Very cute! I loved it; I'm sure you only intended for it to be a one shot story, but I'd also love to see you continue it if at all possible as well. It was a very sweet piece and very well written; two thumbs up!

OMG, I SO LOVE THIS! this definitely has to be one of the BEST HB fanfics out there _! the characterizations were perfect and I loved how you made them interact with one another. It's also nice to show the BPRD team in a Christmas kind of setting :). The interaction between hb and liz was really sweet and it was actually nice reading hb and manning's conversation with one another. the gifts part was such a delight too :). i actually chuckled at the "music store card" gifts. loL! aah, such a great fanfic :)! thanks for this heartwarming hb story :D!

Oh wow that was great! I loved it so much. You got everybody's descriptions awesome and OMG CUTE HELLBOY AND LIZ. When I came looking on the Hellboy fics, this surprised and pleased me. I love this story so much. YAY *puts story on favourites and jumps around happily*

This was beautifully written. Great characterizations and a lovely theme. It is probably one of the best Christmas fics I've ever read. Great work, I hope to read more 'Hellboy' from you!

Aw, I'm such a sucker for Christmas stories! I think I'm going to go through and read this story a second time while I'm reviewing to give you all I can in the way of feedback. Not enough people on fanfiction.net leave comments with any meat to them, so I try to do it as often as possible for the really good stories I find. And this certainly counts as one!

The descriptions of the weather, city, and season were both simplistic and thorough, achieving a very pleasant tone to the literature. I have a difficult time putting the mood of towns into words, so this really impressed me.

Also, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that imagines Hellboy would talk to Broom even though he's gone. The father-son relationship seemed so deep between them not even death could keep them apart. (Another element that you got into later in the story which I also liked. ;D)

Whether it amuses you to know or not, the 'Ah have always depended on the kindness of strangers' remark really got me giggling. Excellent portrayal of HB's devious sense of humor. Mistletoe Hb/Liz shippin' happy fangirl, nothing warms my heart more than those two. Tell Abe that he's not the only one that babbles on about Christmas being no where near Christ's birthday, but placed there so it would be close to the Pagan winter solstice, I've caught myself doing it on a few occasions.

Ugh, and just how did you manage to think up such nice gifts for all of them? Had I written this they all would have received pairs of thick socks and new wall calendars.

And again with the HB/Liz love -swoon- no better way to end a Christmas fic.

Now to wrap it all up, the writing style I spoke of at the beginning, simplistic and thorough, carried out through out the whole story making it a very easy and enjoyable read. You seemed to have no difficulty capturing the characters and all their different sides. Most stories now only portray Manning as a hardass trying to ruin Hellboy's life, Liz and a tormented pyrokinetic soul, and HB as a crabby demon, you have done the very opposite. And you even had a good story title! (Another talent that also eludes me) This gets a spot on my favorites list. Dont'cha feel special? Sorry my review ended up so long. n.n
