Great! In fact, it's one of the best Zelda fanfics on the internet! Nathan was a great and original character, and the story fills in the blanks of the first Zelda game's story. I also loved the love story between Link and Zelda. Ever since the first time I played a Zelda game, I always imagined them loving each other. I can go on and on about how good this is, but my fingers might become numb!

That is amazing. Great work. Very descriptive. I had a movie going on in my head of what was going on. Everything seems they way it should be, the way that they talk, act, etc.

Okay, this is cool! Original Zelda fics are so hard to come by. I really like the idea of a novelization, and so far the plot seems good!

My only criticism is that sometimes you just tend to tell us what's happening, instead of showing us. Perhaps a little more description of the events would help.

But otherwise, good job! I'll read the rest of the story as soon as I have more time! :)

I just finished this marvellous story in one go. Fantastic, in my humble opinion one of the best stories around - plus one refering to the good old NES times. I love how you incorporated the different elements of later games to give it a feel of completeness.
Never mind the inspiration by movies, if you ever read a story of me you´d find a hell lot familiar lines, images, concepts or whatever. BTW, Minias (I probably misspelled that) reminds me far more of Helm´s Deep than Minas Tirith, a hidden refuge and impenetrable, but rather uncomfortable fortress.
Anyways, I´ll keep my eyes open for the sequel, which, I hope, you´ll write with as much skill and heart.

aw. :) I really enjoyed this story. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I think you rose above it. I've never played any of the old Zelda games (I grew to the age where I was interested a little late) so I'll definitely stick around for the sequel. :)

Woot! That was really good I liked it a lot! I can't wait for the sequal. That fluff was so cute and it wasn't overdone! I do have one question, was Link a brunette in the first game? Cause in all the recent games he's blonde... I don't know I've never played the earliest one, actually the only one I've finished is OoT. I got Link and Nathan confused a lot when their looks were described... oh well, that won't be a problem anymore cause he's dead... that was so mean... poor Link had to kill his best friend... The scenes reminded me of LoTR:RotK it's not a bad thing it was well done! I also liked that you included the goddesses more and gave them kind of a role... ya know actually leting them visit people, but not interfere... really cool! Please continue!

good.the way that the black dragons come out reminds me of the Return of the King movie to(why do i keep thinking that some of the stuff in this fanfic seems similar to the stuff in the Lord of the Rings:Return of the King movie?).

good.same to any other chapters that i haven't reveiwed.for some weird reason,the speech that harkinian gave to his troops reminds me of the one that aragorn gave to his army in front of the black gates in mordor.maybe it's just me,but it does remind me of that.
