Very nice. A sympathetic, consistent and psychologically real portrayal of perhaps the most hypocritical and obnoxious character in Star Trek. Well done, good choice of inicidents, writing and use of backstory.

I love your take on Kai Winn.

Wow, I've never read anything quite like this. Kai Winn is definitely one of the most interesting characters on the show-I always wondered if she was really as malignant as she seemed or just grossly deceiving herself. You gave an insight into her that doesn't make her a villain but a multi-faceted character who I can almost feel sorry for.

An intense portrait of Winn and her way throughout the show. V. made me see the finale in a new light, but I. with the glimpse it offers of Winn's relationship with Opaka touched me most.
