This is an intimate look at Finrod's imprisionment and a good portrayal of his raw thought.

My favorite imagery from you in this vignette is "...brash grace..." I think I had shivers going down my spine at that fierce imagery.

Nicely done! I am glad to have happened upon this delightful, and short piece. The length of it gives it that much more meaning, I think and adds to the instensity of the situation Finrod has been placed in by Sauron.

is all i can say. i mean, u incorporated all that is lovely and fair about Aman (well isn't everything) and all the references to Finarfin, and the Valar/Valier, and how he at first, thinks he's hallucinating, and that Sauron (i was a bit surprised @ that reference. why not Morgoth?) controls even his mind, but then he becomes defiant, and realizes that Sauron must be angry that he cannot control Finrod's mind.
your word usage is stunning, and i just love all the references... must go onto my fav stories. gah, u should check that list. there's like 4 stories from u, plus the fav authors list!

Intensely desperate. Finrod really came through, although it was rather heartbreaking considering his normal descriptions in the Silm. The last line is superb.
