This fanfic is marvelous! I can't wait for more! Please finish it! You make Naraku beautiful, not just b/c of his dark handsome looks, but because of his evil too, his halfling being...and you make all of Kagome's suffering poetic and romantic.

Ah, this is my favorite short story in this Naraku and Kagome collection. Using the parallel of the turtle story was pure brilliance, and I absolutely LOVED reading that whole thing. The 'He does not know he is dead' line actually sent shivers down my spine, because it connected so well with the nature of Naraku's existence. And Kagome's reaction was described in a very interesting way- I feel like if I were there, that would have been exactly how I would have felt after hearing that.
Just out of curiosity, where did you come up with the idea of that turtle story? Did you make it up or did you get it from somewhere?

Please write more. i am a huge fan of the story so far.

These vignettes make me nearly delirious, they seduce so thoroughly. Even your shortest phrases evoke lush, rich scenes. Your writing is very stirring. I can feel my id crawling to the surface with every word, and yet you have such a keen perception of character that I find my thoughts on Naraku shifting like a piece in chess. This is an exquisite collection.

I have a lot of faith in this story.
It's strange, disconnected quality
draws me to it like a moth to a distant flame.

I love dark Kagome-Naraku fics like this. There are several misspellings but the overall atmosphere compensates for the story's shortcomings.

This is so fantastic...the way you write and the way you portray the interaction between Kagome and Naraku is stunningly artistic. I really hope you continue this. It is such a unique piece.

... well, there is some more flow in these chapters, although its slightly annoying that they are like TOATLLY out of order, at least you gave me warning. I think I would like to see how this works. An unfeeling hanyou, and an emotional miko, its almost like when she was with Inuyasha all over agin, except what messed with Inuyasha is not the same thing that messes with Naraku now. Poor Kagome, can't she ever get a *normal* guy? Kouga does not count, I don't know why, but he just *can't* be normal. I wonder how Kouga feels about the Inuyasha 'betrayal' and Kagome being with Naraku now? that would be a fun chapter. how did he capture her the second time anyway? I know he let her go, she went home, then nothing, and then he has captured her again and now here we are and all, but what went on between when she went home and when he captured her again?

FINALLY!! SOME ACTION!! it only took freaking FOREVER! sheesh.I mean 11 CHAPTERS!! for crying out loud! I really had NEVER though to these two as a couple, but now you've got me hooked, HAPPY?
