I can't believe we've finally made it to the end. The ending was beautiful, hopeful with a touch lingering sorrow. You've invested so much of yourself into this story, and I hope your book plans go well. You deserve all the praise you've garnered over the years. I thank you sincerely for sharing this with us.
Until next time!

Best story I have ever read. Perfect ending and I'm glad you didn't make everyone completely healed. Good work!
I'm glad that you don't do short, or sweet, for this was a great concluding chapter for this epic tale. It is more a hopeful than a happy ending, which considering that none of the characters will have escaped unscarred by the events depicted, is a very realistic one. (There were times during this tale that I thought it would be impossible for you to give this a satisfactory conclusion - sorry, I was wrong to doubt you, Lamiel!)
There were so many scenes in this story that left me feeling that I had watched the action rather than read it, a fact due entirely to your vivid and detailed descriptions. Thank you so much for the image of 'Juggling Elves' - it still makes me smile even now.
To publish this story in a hard copy is a great idea and I wish you well with the project - sadly as my printer was not even up to the task of printing each chapter and I'm woefully lacking in artistic talents I have no help or assistance to trade.
I hope this story remains on this site for a long time to come as I have already spotted details in this tale that I missed the first time. Thank you again for such an absorbing story and best wishes for you in your future endeavours.

Excellent! Splendid! Magnificent! I could go on and on. From the first line on the first page, I have loved this story. As someone else said, it is bittersweet. I'm thankful that Legolas recovered as well as he did, but I still feel pain at his loss of so much. I'm so happy that you will be writing more stories (doing the happy dance)and will be looking forward to reading them.
You deserve every word of praise heaped upon you and every award presented to you.
Such a beautiful ending. Angsty, with a bit of lingering sadness, but the light-hearted note at then end ties it up perfectly.
I would love to do a book cover, but my scanner broke...still haven't got that fixed yet. So I hope someone can come up with a great cover for this story. :)
You couldn't have written a more perfect ending. It was certainly sweet enough for me. When I think back to the middle of the story, I never would have dreamed that things could have turned out as well as they did. You said you were going to bring their friendship down to the bare bones and you did that and built it back up as no one else could. I loved it when Legolas presented the Chain of Oropher to Aragorn. When Aragorn looked away as Legolas relayed Thranduil's message, I could feel the lump in his throat that he must have had. He still doesn't feel worthy. But what is this emptiness that Arwen says Legolas' has? The convesation seemed to veer off somewhere and I didn't find an answer. Or maybe I just missed it. I liked how Legolas described himself as healed but scarred. I'm looking forward to lots of short stories from you. Every one will be a blessing.
Hi well, I never thought the day would come but we now have the final chapter and as with the rest of the story there was angst and unhappiness but also some hope for the future.
There were times when the power of this story all but swept me away and I was only reading it!
But in the end we come back to the strength and durability of friendship and love and a reasonably 'happy' ending
That was the perfect end to an enthralling story. As much as I want to see Legolas completely healed and happy, I agree that it just could not happen this side of the sea. Far better to end with hope.
Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I look forward to your future tales.
I want to congratule you for this story, it is so beautiful and sad...it is an ode to friendship, I don't know wht to say, I just loved it.
The final scene, in the balcony, it was just perfect. Good luck with your book, I'm not good in photoshop, so I can not offer my help.
Thank for this story, I will be waiting for more of your stories, now if I can fill my shopping cart, can we have one with Legolas and Faramir? they shared Ithilien, I'm sure that they have a lot of interaction, and your portrait of Faramir and Eowyn was perfect...Anyway, I will read whatever you post.
You did it! You finished it! I am so pleased and happy... and sad, too. For it is finished. "sniff"
As others have mentioned, I like how the closing chapter begins as the opening one did, even to the same wording, but how different the meaning and feelings of those words. And I am glad you did not have a mushy meeting of the three. So much more realistic, the formal words and actions.
You ended the story perfectly, not all wounds are healed without some scarring, but life goes on. There are orcs to kill!
I once told you I was painting some scenes from your story. One is almost done, I will send it on to you. It would not be worthy of cover art, but it is yours.
Everyone seems happy or as happy as they can be. I still feel sorry for Legolas who lost the most; epsecially Arwen. How hard that must be for him.
So it looks as though Thranduil forgives Aragorn. He truly is a great king, isn't he?
I would love to see one last chapter of Legolas in Valinor after being there awhile. Is he whole again?
Thanks for a wonderful story and I'm looking forward to reading more!

You don't do sweet, but my my do you do bittersweet!
Loved this final chapter, loved Arwen and even more Gimli and I can see the stiffness and formality and awkwardness being almost completely wiped out by a hunting party!
Thank you, thank you, thank you, for the best Lord of the Rings story I have ever had the luck to stumble upon and read. It's been incredible watching the birth of your amazing epic. Even though I have no call to be, I am extremely proud of you!
I thought its amazing how this chapter seems to nicely close the cycle - the story started with Arwen looking over the fields, waiting for Legolas to arrive, and in both cases Aragorn comes from behind and she tells him that Gimli is coming too. But in those two cases his reaction to the news is completely different, as well as Arwen's reaction to her husband's presence. It is a good demonstration of how much everything has changed.
The converstations between Arwen and Legolas and later Legolas and Aragorn were wonderfully done. My favourite part is when Legolas says that a friend wouldn't need to ask. And what a great end to end it all - with a "good fight"!
Sniff! I can't believe it's over! This story has become a part of me. Every time I see an alert for this story in my mailbox, I'm ready to jump with happiness, but not today - today I thought "No! It's over!" This story meant a lot to me and I will miss it. I am sure I'll keep thinking of it and imagining the scenes in my mind, and I will surely reread it one day.
In my last review I told you pretty much all I wanted to tell, but once again I have to say a big thank you - thank you for writing this and letting me and many other readers go through that epic journey and experience joy and sorrow, horror and relief, and most of all, the strength of love and friendship.

Yay! It's done and the chapter was lovely. I'm do glad you didn't kill Legolas :D
I'm an artist also (not a professional) and would love to design the cover in my spare time, but the only problem is that I've been extremely busy for a few months now, so I'm not sure as yet.
