The mood of this ficlet was quite different from the first, but just as enjoyable, in its own way. The conversation's very sharp, almost like a swordfight in which they use words, rather than swords.

Ah, Schuldich, how I love you. From a safe distance, like say, the other end of the screen, of course, since I do value my life also, and don't have any nifty super-powers to save me. I loved to read this moment of Schwarzness, so sparkling and humorous, in spite of the seriousness of the situation. ^-^;

Schuldig is crazy. That's why we love him so. Crawford makes such a wonderful foil for him. I wonder what Schwarz wants with Aya-chan. Do we have a touch of Stockholm syndrome here? I'll be looking forward to seeing where all these mysterious threads are finally going to weave together, and to see the final tapestry.
