Nice premise, interesting bad guys.

Very well done - two related, but different stories exploring some very powerful topics. I hope to see you doing more with Spidey in the future.

That was the saddest, most amazing stories. It was so different. I have never read anythiogn liek that. This was...amazing. And, even though Kim wasn't evil or good, at least she saved some lives, since she took care of Jeremy. but, what is to happen to Spider-Man? He had the shot thingie, so, will he too die? Or can he recover from it because of his powers? Lol, this is one story that could be continued in different ways, since it ends strangly. Oh, but it is so good! (on favs)

This...has got to be...one of the most amazing fan fictions I have ever read.

If I didn't know this was a work of fan fiction I could swear this was something that JMS or Ms. Avery themselves would have come up with. Hell even good old Paul Jenkins. I'm telling u all this because it's obvious you read the comics, and I have more respect for you because it takes a LONG TIME to find authors on here who are Spider-Man authors doing stuff NOT based off the movies.

However, to do compelling one-shots...now THAT takes skill.

I especially loved the concept of a human being that totally was lacking of emotions, and your characterization of Peter was totally on point, as he is always portrayed as this optimistic beyond belief type of character. Of course, you had the action and the "villain" in there too, but you managed to keep the story focused around Kim and Spidey. The tragic ending made it especially heart-wrenching, and you did not hold back on the trauma either, from your descriptions of what happened to Kim in her life.

This reminds me of the issues #501-505, where JMS didn't focus on Pete as much but rather on those he interacted with, having Pete just serve as the guy whose eyes we see everything through.

I'm almost tempted to ask for some more, but this was PERFECT. If you can continue to write Spider-man stuff like this, it'd be most appreciative.

PS--And if you get a chance, I'm also in the middle of a Spider-Man story (NOT BASED ON THE MOVIES EITHER, takes place somewhere after Pete and MJ reconcile...not really your style, but more of a plot-based multi-chapter type thing. Not as emotionally powerful as yours, but I hope you like it. Go to my profile and it's the only Spider-Man story. i have about 4 chapters up but I have everything planned out.
