n30-z30n 2005-02-02 . chapter 16 Well I just came to check up on your fic, and man o man. I gotta say, I'm glad I decided to click on your fic's final chap. I'm speechless man. You don't see the main character dying like that, and you remind me of Tomino of all the deaths. To me this is the best Gundam fic I've read and best of any Gundam Sentinel fic ever to be written.
Well I kinda crossed over to GTA for a lil bit, o got 3 chap story and I just wanted to say that...I am grateful for your reviews on my fic and I will be back soon. |
Marching Madly Onward 2004-12-12 . chapter 16And so it ends. It's depressing, bleak, and brutal, but utterly realistic. That's the way war is. The good guy doesn't always win. Hell, there rarely is a "good guy." And this is one of those many instances where there isn't one.
Congratulations on a job well done, this is truly a superb work. |
 SulliMike23 2004-12-10 . chapter 16Truly a spectacular story my friend. I applaud your skills as a writer. |
Marching Madly Onward 2004-12-06 . chapter 13While I do like this chapter and all, I can't help but feel a bit put off with a bunch of MS pilots killing off infantrymen with so much ease. They're training probably doesn't focus as much on that sort of thing.
But they're main characters, so I guess that overrides any skill a red shirt may possess...
Hoping to see more~GMD |
Marching Madly Onward 2004-11-23 . chapter 12A "down time" chapter contrasts nicely after the long-running battle at Ayers City and the bloodshed that is yet to come. Speaking of which, Lynn is apparently doomed. Granted, it looks like the entire GraveWalkers unit will be wiped out in the end, but when a character starts talking about their hopes and dreams like that, it often serves as a death sentence. |
Marching Madly Onward 2004-11-17 . chapter 1After reading my last review, it seems as if I'm advertising for my own fic. I certainly did mention it a lot. You can delete that review if you'd like, pchadi0. |
Marching Madly Onward 2004-11-16 . chapter 11And the story chugs along. Your work ethic is amazing. My story was posted before yours, but it has only eight chapters to your eleven. You shell out these chapters in record time, while my story sits in a proverbial purgatory. I guess I need to get back to writing pretty soon...
As for the fic itself: I'm surprised Mike Sullivan and the 10th MS Team are so untouchable. Sure, he's a borrowed character and I can see why you might want to pay homage to him, but making him the next Amuro Ray seems a bit extreme. Hell, Tosh Cray (one of the best Oldtype pilots around) in the Gundam Mk V couldn't beat him! Ah, well, it's your story. You can do with it what you like. And I'll admit the concept of borrowing another author's characters is quite appealing... |
Starscream 2004-11-16 . chapter 11Question: Twanning, wasn't he one of Kycillia's aides during the One Year War. Also the Gravewalkers, Battletech I presume? |
Marching Madly Onward 2004-11-10 . chapter 10I actually read this a few days ago, but forgot to drop a review. Now, I'm remedying that.
What to say...what to say?
*spoilers from here on out*
There's not much to say aside from this story continuing to kick ass. The loss of a wing man and the district they were to defend was disheartening. Armus' rage was almost palpable. All in all, another great chapter.
I can't wait to see how the Gravewalkers react to the New Desides teaming up with Neo Zeon. I'll bet you could cut the tension with a knife. |
SulliMike23 2004-11-05 . chapter 10Well, it seems my character's team showed up just in time and my character's Rick Dias gave Armus' men a good beating. I just hope he realizes Armus' position in this. |
 Starscream 2004-11-01 . chapter 9What is a FAZZ? |
Lodis lord 2004-10-30 . chapter 9first off thank you for the review. I tried ot pick appart your story, but i couldn't find anything wrong. it's original in my opinion. i'll be back once you update. |
Marching Madly Onward 2004-10-29 . chapter 8Well...maybe it was an exaggeration to compare this to Project N, but it's one of the few fics that can even come close. Kishiria, ShadowCell, and Preventer Void's works are quite good, too, but this story probably comes the closest.
Anyway, keep up the good work. |
Marching Madly Onward 2004-10-29 . chapter 7Three chapters down...
This is an awesome fic. I know I've said it before, but it's REALLY REALLY good.
The only nit-picky thing I have to say is the perception of the struggle. I'm sure you know all this, but I'll repeat it to make my case. The New Decides was once a Federation unit comprised of skilled pilots that was testing out new MS while training new yet talented pilots. Taskforce Alpha, on the other hand, was a hastily thrown-together band of second-rate pilots who couldn't quite make it into elite groups like the Titans that used a handful of prototypes the Federation shelled out solely to test/intimidate the New Decides (some of the units are referred to as "paper tiger"). So, the New Decides really had the advantage yet the story makes Taskforce Alpha out to be the giant. After all, Taskforce Alpha got the royal crap kicked out of them thanks to the Logistic Bomb (or so that's my understandig of it).
Or is this one of those things you took liberties with and don't want to be corrected about due to artistic license? Either way, I'm not saying that it's a bad thing, I'm just curious as to how it's boiled down like that. |
Marching Madly Onward 2004-10-27 . chapter 4M...that's good story.
I'm surprised I didn't read this sooner. This fic-dare I say it?-rivals Newtype Alpha's Project N, which I hold in the high regard of being the best Gundam fanfic ever. Really, it's that good. In fact, this is the first time I've seen a story come close. Even the Phoenix trilogy, with all its fanfare, can't match this. |
