A great story. I liked the part where Angel was thinking about the situation.

What a heartbreaking, awe-ful story. It sounds like just the kind of trick the Powers would play. I'm surprised Angel didn't rebel against them long ago the way Buffy rebelled against the Watchers' Council.

Wow...that was so powerful. Seriously one of the best short fics i've ever read.

Amazing. Simply amazing. Where do i star? This was beautifully written, a little confusing in parts (especially in the first half), the thoughts seem to run into each other, and don't have a time. However, This actually added to the mood, painful and missmatched. The phrasing was wonderful. There was so much I loved. Um, the last few lines, after the child appears, are just amazing. "No rest for the weary, no relief for the wicked" It's just a slight perversion of the original proverb, and I loved it. also, "dry tears" that stopped me. The expression captivated the feeling exactly. "She transcended divinity." what can I say about that? It's simple in it's meaning, but the phrase is... cluttered elegance. The dress. The white... red... dress. That was artistic even. The scene where he acutally gets his mortality back, and he chokes, that was perfect too! It was a little bit sad, and a little bit amazing, and kind of un-heroic, no glowing lights. I knew it wouldn't be happily ever after, but the end kind of threw me. She died for him. The point about living without her, his reason, was very true. Great work.
