I doubt that you'll ever read this since you posted this fic years ago, but I'll review it anyway just because I want to. I really enjoyed reading this. Your writing is simply beautiful, and the atmosphere is lovely. I especially loved the last line, 'He did not bother to light the candles again, and his rooms forever remained in darkness,' because it sums up Subaru's life rather nicely. Subaru always had the ability to choose a happier path for himself, but he never lets himself see that, which is what makes his character so tragic. Truly beautiful.

That was the line when I guessed it was Subaru, when I remember that the summary said Sakurazukamori, not Seishirou.

I wonder whose ghost was it, someone Sakurazukamori Subaru killed?

A small error I caught:
"It was the not the first time he was unwilling to believe a ghost's words."
There's an extra 'the' after 'was' and before 'not'.

Anyway, this fic is...wow. I love how you managed to capture the haunted, lonely atmosphere so well. It's a really well written piece. ^__^

This was actually rather lovely, which is such a surprise considering how many bad stories I've seen of this pairing. (None from you of course) It was quite refreshing and I believe you got them basically in-character, and I do hope to see more of this.
