Aww that was so kawaii! And so sad. ^__^ I liked this story. This was my first to read a Fushigi Yugi story, and my FAVORITE FAVORITE character! My friends are getting annoyed cause I'm saying, "NURIKO DIED NURIKO DIED". lol. Sugoi job!

Tasuki, Chichiri and Nuriko are my fave characters...and I cried my eyes out at Nuriko's death. The song really does seem to fit and well done for tying it all together so well

Actually, one of the wonderful things about America is that you have the freedom to blatently say that Nuriko was a male.

As for the actual fic itself, I think it was really good. I actually skipped the song excerpts because I feel those are pointless in any story. If you need to use someone else's words to write a story, then you shouldn't be writing it in the first place. You should just say something like "Listen to such and such's song, it's how I think this represents this event from this movie/anime."

Good luck though. Avoid songfics in the future. They lack originality.
