I was with you for the first chapter, very in character.

Nit pick: Having Kate in command is wrong. Tony outranks her and has the lead in Gibbs' absence.

I remember that I read this story before, but it's so refreshing to read it again. The story took me until 2:30 am to read, which is the time now, but loved every minute and going to be sleep deprived in the morning is going to be well worth it. You did an amazing job at this story and the struggles Gibbs had to go through to trust everyone again, even himself. It was defintily one of my favorites. Kudos, you defintily deserve it.

I was really happy to see that Abby and Kate finally got to see Gibbs, although under those circumstance, I'm sure they'd wish it better. The Abby huggin Gibbs scene almost got me, almost, but it was still great. Awesome job with this chapter too, it was really needed.

I really tried not to post any more reviews because, why do you need so many for a story that is a little older, but for some reason I had to comment on this chapter. Although the two basically beat the truth out of each other, well mostly Gibbs, I know they both needed it. A letting go of the emtions is what has started the healing process and hopefully the continuation of the friendship and maybe something more. As I said before, there is no telling what the two of them went through especially Gibbs, but I know they they need love and to feel comortable and hopefully they'll find that in each other and are willing to help on another in a way that only they can. All in all, what I'm trying to say was that it was a great chapter and one that was clearly needed for both Tony and Gibbs.. Great job in writting this, it's amazing.

I like this chapter for several reasons, one because I get the feeling Tony is starting to realize just what he's missing with not being with Gibbs, for Ducky understanding both sides of the situation and for Gibbs not letting himself get down over this all, even though his stoic posture can't hold up for long. I was a little confused about Kate being in charge? I would have guessed it'd be Tony having two years on Kate, but whatever the reason it doesn't matter. It was truly I great chapter.

I honestly feel bad for Gibbs. There's no telling what he must be going through, I just hope he lets the team help him get through it and be his support system instead of running form them. This is an amazing first chapter.

Gibbs' analysis of how he handled Tony was brilliant. I loved it.

Oh the emotion of this chapter was so touching. The end was too sad!

Argh, Gibbs' reaction to Tony's tentative touch was both horrific and understandable.

He may have been a minor characters, but your occupational therapist made such an impression - just the right way of handling Gibbs.

Oh and the tension was palpable as Tony waited and wondered what to do!

Ducky and Abs are absolute paragons! They handled our two duelling agents just right and now Abby is on a mission. I can't wait!

I have to admit that the only reason I read this is because I found your story on someone else's favourite list and I liked those other stories. So because I was curious about the Gibbs whump I decided to take a chance. Why take a chance you may wonder?Well, I can't say I'm all that thrilled with the slash element.
HOWEVER, this was a brilliantly written first chapter and I'm totally and utterly caught up in the story. This was beautifully written and I thought you captured all the characters to perfection. Can't wait to move on...
