Very interesting background fic...explains a lot about the gods, though it doesn't seem consistent with the second MK movie. I think with a little revising you could make it totally fit though. Either way, nothing wrong with taking some liberties...it's fanfiction after all! And it's still very good. *skips happily onwards to the next story* :D

Just discovered your fics. I haven't read anything yet but I had to comment, hah. You are awesome for writing Rayden-centric fic and especially for including MK:Conquest. If you have any others you recommend, pleasepleaseplease let me know. I don't know much about MK in general but I loved Conquest (which is slowly fading from my memory =/) and good Rayden AND Conquest fics are so hard to find. You rock!

You used that word like three times in a chapter three I believe. I'm fairly positive you meant suspicion. You also used 'on' instead of one many times as well. Which leads me to suggest another round of proofreading in order to catch the typos.

The story you have created is very interesting. I myself am not adversed that Rayden, Shinnok and Kahn were related. MK:A was crap though. I have to say I prefer that Kahn and Rayden be brothers but I don't particularly care for Shinnok as their father. And I can't see Shinnok and Kahn getting along any better than Rayden and Shinnok. I'm speaking of the movie relationships not your fanfic. You did a much better job with it. I've tinkered with the ideas of making a better connection between those three myself but I got distracted by other projects.

I like your story. It's pretty funny and original; however there are some things I feel I have to point out that I don't understand.
First: who is that human woman going back and forth through out time to help Rayden? How did she get this gift? Why is she helping Rayden? Is she helping anyone else or is it just him? I don't quite believe that she is human. I think it would be more likely if she was Fate or the Creator or something but that's just me...
Second: How did Rayden not know about Kahn? Wouldn't Kahn have taken a side during the war and met Rayden? Wouldn't Rayden have been informed that he has another brother? Surely Bentan would have learned of it somehow and told him (unless she died before it happened which leads to #3)...
Third: Exactly what is your time frame here? How long has it been since the war? A year? 10 years? 100 years? How long has Kahn been in the shadows waiting to attack?
Anywho, the story as a whole is great. I check for updates regularly. I can't wait til you bring in Kung Lao, Taja, Siro, Johnny Cage, Lui Kang and Sonya. Btw, where is Fujin? Is he just chilling inside his temple guarding the amulet to stay out of trouble?
